On July 28, the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) will bestow two of the city’s highest honors upon the dancehall icon. Bounty Killer will receive the Key to the City of Kingston, while Wenchman Road in his hometown of Seaview Gardens will be officially renamed Rodney Price Drive.
The decision, approved by the KSAMC in April 2026, recognizes Bounty Killer’s immense contribution to Jamaican culture and celebrates a remarkable journey from the streets of Seaview Gardens to becoming one of the most influential figures in global dancehall.
