April 15, 2022

After a long hiatus due to covid-19, reggae fans can now enjoy the freedom of witnessing the biggest musical showcase in Jamaica. The international attention is already in high gear as patrons are preparing for what is donned as the biggest Sumfest since its inception. The annual extravaganza had its humble beginnings back in 1993, and is now the biggest music festival in Jamaica. Due to the lockdown entertainers and show organizers were forced to do the event virtually. Nonetheless, this year there will have plenty of precautions and safety guidelines in place for all attendees. The grand event will be held July 18th-23rd this year and will feature live performances each night. Reggae lovers worldwide can look forward to enjoying a fun filled atmosphere with plenty of activities on the hip strip of Montego Bay. Legends and up and coming artists will grace the stage for a memorable night. The likes of Beres Hammond, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Koffee, Spice, Cham, Shenseea,  Sizzla, Dexta Daps, Nation boss and D’Yani are just a few of the performers that will grace the stage on the last two nights.
