SKILLIBENG Wins 2022 MOBO AWARD

Skillibeng was the clear winner at the 2022 MOBO Awards in the category of “Best Caribbean Music Act”. This is his first win in three MOBO (Music of Black Origins) nominations so far. He is also the first winner in this newly named category, which was called “Best Reggae Act”. For 25 years, MOBO has honored the artistic and technical achievements of exceptional British and international talent in Hip Hop, Grime, R&B and Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel and Afrobeats. Proclaimed “King of the dancehall” Beenie Man gave an exciting performance as part of the live entertainment section. Various artists took the stage with speeches and performance. This year the “Lifetime Achievement Award” was bestowed upon “Chic” front-man Nile Rodgers.
